What is non-oriented silicon steel sheet?

Non-oriented silicon steel sheet is an important material used in the manufacture of power transformers, motors and generators. Manufacturing process of non-oriented silicon steel sheets:

Raw material preparation: First, high-quality silicon steel materials need to be prepared as raw materials for manufacturing non-oriented silicon steel sheets. These raw materials are usually cold-rolled non-oriented electrical steel sheets containing silicon.
Hot rolling: After the raw materials are heated, the raw materials are rolled into the required thin plates through the hot rolling process.
Annealing treatment: The thin plate is annealed to eliminate stress and improve the structural uniformity of the grains, thereby improving the magnetic properties of silicon steel.
Surface treatment: After cleaning, pickling, etc. to remove oxides and other impurities, and then insulating coating treatment, usually with organic resin or oxide coating.
Cutting: The surface-treated silicon steel sheets are cut according to the size required by the customer.
Packaging: Finally, after strict quality inspection, the non-oriented silicon steel sheets are packaged according to the specifications for easy transportation and storage.
